We are Activate Impact Solutions
based in Botswana and the UK.
Drawing on our extensive consulting work with governments, international development organisations and businesses we have developed a new approach to the design and delivery of small-scale sustainable solutions.
Our focus is on practical, collaborative, cost-effective and knowledge led ideas that create skills opportunities for SMEs and young people.

Join our Activation Events
We have designed new impact approaches to a range of solutions and are launching these ideas through a series of Activation Events.
The Activation events bring groups of SMEs, experts and young people together to an online event, to learn about, contribute to and share low cost ideas to improve everyone's lives and the planet.
The Activation Events result in a range of toolkits, tools and networks to support the implementation of the ideas.
Through our activation programmes and client services you will learn how to:
Design solutions that make use of disruptive models and existing technology focusing on user needs and value for money
Make use of practical approaches to behaviour and systems change to design solutions and create effective consumer and business campaigns that support behaviour change
Incorporate new approaches to increasing environmental and social impact and good practice principles
Support to Governments: we have supported more than 20 governments in Africa and Asia in the design and delivery of government budget preparation, reforms funded by the World Bank and UK FCDO.
Training Materials and Tools: we created manuals for our clients, an African regional capacity building organisation and the World Health Organisation.
Software design and development: our budget preparation software was used by the Government of Ghana for more than 10 years.
Organisational change: including Capital One Bank, Open University, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Our solutions and youth led approach builds on the research skills programme we ran with teams of young people in Botswana, Malawi, Ghana and Nigeria.
We researched the reasons why economic growth does not address poverty reduction, identified the underlying challenges for sustainable development, organised an event with young people in Botswana and scoped practical solutions.
Through the pilot phase we demonstrated the potential for involving young people in research and campaigns.
We were nominated for a Global Sourcing Award for our efforts to promote research skills for young people and the idea of impact sourcing in Africa.
